The Samurai Refractions series is a dedicated bait casting rod range featuring top end components from Fuji. They are tuned and built specifically for lure casting and feature, our Split Duragrip configuration using soft EVA foam.

There are two new models dedicated to the popular cod market and designed specifically for swimbaits.

One is a 7 foot 4 inch, 16-40lb rod with casting weights rated from 10-200g lures. The other a heavier outfit, 8 foot 3 inch, 20-50lb rated to 500g lures.

Many anglers chasing the mighty Murray cod have different views as to what is the optimal rod butt length. We solve that problem with an industry first, supplying two lengths with all the Refraction Swimbait rods. One standard length and one longer for those who want that additional grip length for longer controlled casting. No matter your preference, we have you covered.

The blank is a machine rolled triple layer carbon build which has been hot press baked offering extreme strength and a precise thickness along the length of the rod. The blank is also micro-fused resulting in a faster recoil time, delivering a crisp action over the rod length.
